El submarino de la clase Seawolf USS Connecticut arriba a la base de Kitsap en Bremerton, Washington, ayer 21 tras un tránsito en superficie desde Guam (¡¡¡) para reparaciones tras su colisión en el Mar de China.
Abajo con asistencia de un remolcador al abandonar la base de San Diego. A la Virgen del Carmen no se la ve, pero por ahí debía andar.

En los astilleros Huntington Ingalls botadura el 7 de enero de 2022, del nuevo buque de transporte anfibio Richard M. McCool Jr. (LPD 29). Es el decimotercer LPD de la clase San Antonio. Su entrega a la US Navy está prevista para el próximo año.

Y un día antes Bollinger Shipyards entregó el USCGC CLARENCE SUTPHIN al USCG En Key West, Florida. Es el buque número 47 entregado bajo el programa actual.

Tiempos aquellos en los que lanzaban libertys como churros. Deberían ponerle una velita a algún santo de su devoción, porque si el próximo conflicto serio se dirime por capacidad industrial y no tecnológica, se van a llevan un disgusto.

Lo que está claro es que tras el fiasco del DDG-1000 han decidido volver a formas y soluciones más clásicas.
