Jupiter, hoy he leído un comentario tuyo de hace meses sobre mi afirmación de que las funciones SEAD/DEAD no tardarían mucho en pasar a ser trabajo de drones y si todavía sigues en tus trece, puedes ver la información del IAI HARPY que precisamente lo dedican a esa función y esta YA FABRICADO.

Es una munición autónoma que vuela durante 9 horas esperando la activación de radares.

Entiendo que no es de este hilo, pero vale para valorar cuales son las funciones importantes de los aviones sean de 4ª , 5ª o 6ª generación hoy en día no hace 2, 10 o 20 años.

US defence spending bill could expose new details of sixth-generation fighter development

The 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) approved by Congress on 14 December could expose new details regarding US plans for next-generation aircraft.
For both NGAD and F/A-XX, as well as the accompanying CCA development efforts, the navy and air force must submit detailed reports outlining the programme goals, key technical milestones and testing events. Congress also mandated the two services provide detailed cost estimates for the first two phases of development: engineering and manufacturing design, and low-rate initial production. Specifically, the USAF and USN will have to provide cost estimates for recurring flyaway cost, average procurement unit cost, gross unit cost, aircraft cost-per-tail-per-year and aircraft cost-per-flight-hour for the two sixth-generation fighter programmes, as well as CCAs.

The first reports are due within 180 days of the legislation’s passage, meaning the unclassified details should be publicly available by June 2024.

EAST HARTFORD, Conn., Feb. 12, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Pratt & Whitney, an RTX (NYSE: RTX) business, has completed a critical assessment of its Next-Generation Adaptive Propulsion (NGAP) offering with the U.S. Air Force, moving the program closer to completing its detailed design review. The team is now working towards ground testing of its NGAP prototype, referred to as XA103, which is expected to occur in the late 2020s.

USAF plans to dramatically ramp spending on the Next Generation Air Dominance prgm in the coming years, to the tune of $28.48 Bn b/w FY25 & 29. That includes Collaborative Combat Aircraft program which will produce uncrewed, semi-autonomous “escort” a/c to fly alongside NGAD.

Debería estar listo para las pruebas de vuelo en 2028, ya que quieren la IOC del NGAP en 2030. También comentan que será más pequeño que el AETP, por eso se necesita un nuevo diseño.
