Qué poco "talante" tienes compañero, que eso del AS es "armamento ofensivo" y el nuestro es un ministerio de"defensa"

June 27/12: AASM for F-16? Les Echoes reports that the French DGA may approve Safran Group’s request to integrate its AASM with the F-16, and sell it to F-16 operators around the world.
Dassault is reportedly opposed, fearing that it would hurt Rafale sales. On the other hand, Safran can do the math, and understands how much bigger its market could get if global F-16 fleets become potential customers. Les Echoes cites interest from Denmark and Jordan, and the other obvious launch customer is Morocco, who is the AASM’s only current buyer besides France. Morocco bought AASMs for their upgraded Mirage F1s, but that country is in the process of receiving new F-16C/Ds from the USA, and a common smart bomb would make a lot of sense for them. In March 2010 Brimstone was selected as the basis for the RAF's requirement under the Selective Precision Effects At Range (SPEAR) Capability 2 Block 1 programme.[19] The Demonstration and Manufacture (D&M) contract will increase the missile's performance "significantly", and convert the warhead and rocket motor to use insensitive munitions.[11] Brimstone 2 will have an improved seeker, a more modular design and improvements to airframe and software for "an overall increase in performance with improvements in range and engagement footprint".[20] It is expected to enter service in late 2013.[21] At the same time MBDA were awarded an Assessment Phase contract for SPEAR Capability 3[19] (formerly SPEAR Drop 2). This requires a 75 miles (121 km) range[22] missile with a 100 kilograms (220 lb) warhead[14] to be integrated onto the F-35 Lightning II. Spear 3 may use some modules from Brimstone, and will have flight trials by 2014.[21]

Calla, que la embajada china la echaron abajo con una de 250 kg y ocupaba una manzana completa, lo mismo es que las bombas de ahora llevan unos explosivos un poco mas fuertes que en la Guerra de Secesión.
