Recuerdo que hace poco EEUU dijo que contaba con permitir que empezasen entregas de F-16 de segunda mano a Ucrania no antes de 18 meses tras el inicio del entrenamiento, que fue en verano pasado. Es decir, en teoría se empezarían a mandar a Ucrania como pronto a finales de 2024 (casi 3 años después del inicio de la guerra actual). Y todos los entendidos estamos de acuerdo en que ni siquiera un centenar de F-16 van a cambiar el rumbo del conflicto ni las reglas de juego al tratarse de contra Rusia. Será otro apoyo adicional, más pensado de cara al futuro-equipado-occidental de Ucrania:

Norway has sent two restored F-16 to Denmark, where training on the type is underway with Ukrainian pilots and ground crews.

The two combat jets were retired from active service with the Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNAF) in 2022, after more than 40 years in frontline operation.
Oslo says work began in July 2023 to restore two of its formerly decommissioned F-16s to flight status, after a coalition of NATO countries led by the Netherlands and Denmark pledged to provide Ukraine with Vipers.
Personnel from across the Norwegian defence sector have worked diligently to re-operationalise the F-16 after two years on the ground.
The two Norwegian jets will eventually join F-16s being provided to Ukraine by Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium. All four of the countries are F-35 customers, with Norway and the Netherlands already operating significant numbers of the stealthy type.

The Netherlands has pledged the largest number of F-16s to Ukraine, and made the most progress toward delivering them. In December, the Dutch government began preparing a first tranche of 18 Vipers for transfer to Kyiv. Amsterdam has previously committed 42 F-16s to the effort.
While the USA has not yet pledged any of its aircraft, Washington has committed to approving the third-party transfer, once operational and sustainment capabilities have been established within the Ukrainian air force. The USA is also hosting F-16 training for Ukrainian personnel.

While the receipt of the highly-capable fourth-generation fighter is highly anticipated by Kyiv, Norway has struck a cautious tone. “While some effectiveness is anticipated from the start, it will take time for Ukraine to operate the F-16 according to Western standards,” Oslo says. Ukraine’s transition from Soviet to Western aircraft a “long-term endeavour”.
“Operating, maintaining and conducting operations with fighter jets are specialised and complex operations.”

El miércoles 10 de enero, la compañía estadounidense Lockheed Martin anunció en RRSS que había entregado formalmente los dos primeros de los 14 aviones multifunción F-16C/D Block 70 a la Fuerza Aérea Eslovaca (Vzdušné sily Obrozených síl Slovenskej Republiky).

Los aviones en cuestión se dirigirán ahora a la base aérea Morris en Tucson, Arizona, donde un total de 22 pilotos y 160 miembros del personal técnico de tierra de la Fuerza Aérea Eslovaca se entrenarán para el nuevo tipo de avión de combate. El programa de entrenamiento finalizará en 2026 y algunos de los aviones permanecerán allí hasta entonces. Sin embargo, los restantes empezarán a llegar a Eslovaquia a partir del segundo trimestre de 2024.

Comienza la fabricación de los F-16 para Bulgaria

He mirado la página web de Lockheed Martin y parece que Jennings se ha liado. Ya hay 7 en diferentes fases de producción, pero me parece que lo que empieza es el ensamblado final porque el primer vuelo se espera este año.

Son cifras irreales, incluyendo por ejemplo 30 radares, 49 IVEWS o 50 MMC de repuesto, eso por no hablar del armamento...

No sé por qué será que piden autorización para tantas piezas de repuesto pero de todos modos si al final piden menos el coste final será menor y punto.
A lo mejor se plantean la posibilidad de acabar modernizando algún F-16 más y de esa manera ya tendrían las piezas preautorizadas en vez de tener que pedir una nueva autorización.
Lo sabremos cuando se firme.

Y por una cantidad de $23.000 Millones Es cierto que hay mucho armamento, munición... pero no lo veo.

Precisamente Turquía que esta desarrollando un avión como el TF-X ¡¡ !!
