The Government is seeking qualification, performance, integration, and supportability data on FLRAA solutions with the capabilities described. The Government is particularly interested in solutions that conform to aircraft shape and utilize hardware agnostic software.
The USG is interested in inventive or creative ways that a respondent’s proposed solution for a specific requirement(s) could be reduced in terms of space, weight or cost, or meet additional requirements if given access to other on-board sensors and/or a centralized processing environments under the Modular Open System Approach (MOSA) construct.

Claro, pero es que se les esta olvidando señalar que el tamaño de la cabina del BlackHawk siempre ha sido deficiente y, posiblemente, su principal handicap. Por señalar algo, el NH90 seguiria teniendo una cabina mas grande que la del V280. 536 pies cubicos por los 525 del nuevo. O sea, los USA entran en la gama de tamaños que el resto del mundo lleva considerando "lo normal" desde los años setenta.

En "el resto del mundo" occidental la cabina tamaño Blackhawk era "lo normal" hasta hace nada en helicópteros medios estándar, es decir, las familias Blackhawk y Puma.
En cuanto a la altura, en todas partes cuecen habas, es decir, en casi todos es del estilo. Están hechos para ir sentados.

Si al NH90 le reservas espacio para dos operadores de armas (entiendo que eso son los asientos marrones), la capacidad se reduce a 16 transportados ?
Y en el V-280 con los dos tiradores es de 14
